Venue Manager

The Venue Manager  will collaborate with the operations team on effective building operations delivering a welcoming, secure, clean, safe and comfortable environment for all users of the facilities.

The successful candidate will be full-time and site based at Watkin Road with overall responsibilities for building and venue management processes and procedures.

This is a new role for the organisation and we anticipate it will evolve as the company’s new home develops. The key components of the role will encompass building, venue and production management. We will be welcoming audiences into our building in May 2024 and you will play a key part in making sure we are ready to open our doors.

Contract: Full-time, fixed term 1 year contract from January 2024.

Salary: £30,450

We are advertising this role on a rolling deadline so will accept applications at any time, these will be reviewed weekly and candidates who fit the job description will be contacted and invited to interview. We will close applications when we have found a suitable candidate.

Performers

Generally, auditions for performers are held by invitation only for each production as occasion arises. Calls for performers are made here on the website as well as through industry channels such as Equity Job Information Service and Arts Council England’s Arts Jobs mailing service.

While we cannot guarantee to attend performances of work, performers are welcome to keep us informed of appearances by email or post.

Stage Management, Lighting and Sound Technicians

Punchdrunk Enrichment’s work offers challenging, creatively satisfying opportunities for crew members with expertise and enthusiasm for stage management, lighting, sound and special effects. Productions generally entail a demanding level of site logistics and rigging. Prospective crew members are usually invited for interview as occasion arises. Recruitment for production and performance staff is advertised here on the website as well as through the usual industry channels.

Designers

Punchdrunk Enrichment works with both experienced and emerging design artists who are excited by the variety and specialisms of design installation and scenography. The work incorporates design skills across the spectrum of construction, props, scenic painting, set dressing and costume.
