A theatrical journey through Peter Grimes’ Aldeburgh.
The lines between space, performer and spectator blurred in this unforgettable experience, set somewhere between George Crabbe’s poem The Borough and Britten’s masterpiece, Peter Grimes.
The show took audience members on individual theatrical journeys around Grimes’ town, following in his footsteps and listening to Britten’s magnificent score.
Borough featured the Peter Grimes recording from 1958 used with kind permission of Decca Music Group.
A huge cult hit that will be talked about for years to come.
