Joanne Skapinker
Joanne has worked with Punchdrunk Enrichment since 2018 as a Project Manager, including for The Lost Lending Library, A Curious Quest, A Small Tale, and currently the Immersive Learning Collective.
Joanne is a participation producer, dramaturg, theatre-maker and facilitator from London. Her work is often borne from projects with participation and inclusion at their hearts; from international conversations, socially-engaged questions, and new stories. She has worked with playwrights in New York City, circus performers in France, teenagers in Finland, teachers in Birmingham, and toddlers in Tottenham.
Jo is an Artistic Associate of Coram Shakespeare Schools Foundation, where she was previously Senior Coordinator for Inclusion, producing their festival at 15 theatres each year across London, Yorkshire and the Midlands. She was Engagement Producer for Lost Dog’s national tour of A Tale of Two Cities and Artistic Project Leader at Haringey Shed inclusive theatre company.Â
As a director, facilitator and writer, she has worked across the UK and internationally with organisations including Crying Out Loud for Dormez-vous? (Education Consultant and Facilitator, UK/France), 27 (Writer, Bernie Grant Arts Centre, for Haringey Shed), and Clive - a club night for people with disabilities (Co-Director and Facilitator, ArtsDepot). She was stage director for Little Angel Theatre’s Spectrum Youth Theatre, a puppetry company for young people with autism.
In her work as a Dramaturg, she is a Script Reader for the Traverse Theatre and received the Churchill Fellowship to research engaging people with social issues through devised theatre and dramaturgy at 20 theatres in New York City.
