Bel Parker
ViBrent is a three year programme led by a consortium of nine Brent-based artistic organisations. Through effective partnership, ViBrent aims to expand the borough’s cultural sector, enhancing creative opportunities while creating new employment pathways for young people. Bel’s role as Programme Coordinator is to maintain the communication between the partners, looking after the relationships and supporting on the delivery of key projects.Â
Bel is a keen communicator and advocate for the arts and artistic professionals. She grew up in Brent and is enthusiastic about playing a part in cultivating culture in the borough. Before joining Punchdrunk Enrichment, she was Associate Director at The Big House, where she worked tirelessly to support and mentor young artists for marginalised backgrounds, directing and producing productions and projects that would build skills, confidence and resilience.Â
Alongside her work as ViBrent coordinator, she co-creates her own work in theatre and television. She is passionate about learning languages, and studied Arabic BA at SOAS University.
