Steve McCourt
Steve is a theatre maker and director who specialises in the creation of work for younger audiences. Originally from a performance background, Steve trained as an actor at the Central School of Speech and Drama.
He has made work for a variety of the world’s most recognised stages including the West End (The Lyric, The Vaudeville), Sydney Opera House, Royal Opera House, National Theatre of Holland, Bregenzer Festspiele and Spoleto Festival.
In 2023, Steve directed Casey Jay Andrew’s “A Place that Belongs to Monsters" which received the overall Best Theatre Award at the Adelaide Fringe Festival.
He is an associate artist of The Arts Centre, Hounslow and the Artistic Director of Two Foot Tall.
