News Story

Punchdrunk Enrichment is developing a brand new teacher-led adventure and we're looking for primary schools to be the first to deliver it this summer.

This immersive, classroom-based digital experience for Years 2-3 takes place over a single day. Delivered with one class, it provides an accessible entry-point into immersive learning and supports imaginative play, story creation, and oracy and literacy skills.

You'll be part of a small group of teachers testing and evaluating this project before its public launch later in the year.

We're looking to work with schools who are:

  • State-funded and based in London.
  • Able to deliver the project between Monday 3rd June and Friday 28th June 2024.
  • Available to take part in an in-person evaluation workshop on Wednesday 3rd July, 5-7pm in Wembley Park, Brent.
  • Located in areas of deprivation, with low cultural capital, or a high percentage of pupils eligible for free schools in 2023.

There are limited spaces available; the schools that meet this criteria will be randomly selected to participate. You don't need to have taken part in a previous Punchdrunk Enrichment project or have prior knowledge of immersive learning.

If selected, you'll receive the project for a discounted cost of £30. You must be able to engage with the evaluation process as your feedback will help us shape the final project. Members of the Punchdrunk Enrichment team may observe the delivery to gain an understanding of its impact in the classroom. Teachers will also be asked to keep a record of reflections and feedback on their experience.

Applications close on Wednesday 8th May, 10am BST. If you have any questions, please get in touch with Dorothy Cotter (Producer, Creative Learning).
