Online Performance Workshop
Punchdrunk Enrichment has developed a new workshop which brings Punchdrunk’s historic practice directly to schools worldwide.
The Online Workshop package includes:
- A 15 minute briefing between the teacher and the facilitator
- A 2 hour 30 minute participatory workshop in which students will reimagine their school or college as a performance landscape and explore the relationship between text and space when creating an audience centred experience. Through non-contact devising and whole-class exercises, students will begin to explore Punchdrunk’s historic approach to making performance. Students also have the opportunity to hold a detailed Q&A with their facilitator.
- Follow up exercises for teachers to use with their students following the workshop.
The workshop is suitable for socially distanced learning. It will take place in your school or college, with students together in one space, and the facilitator joining online.
Workshop facilitators: Fernanda Prata, Kirsty Arnold, Katie Lusby, Jane Leaney, Adam Burton, Samuel Booth, Vinicius Salles and Anna Fikel.
Running time: 2 hours and 30 minutes
Total cost: £350
Currently booking for Autumn term 2021.
