Anti-racism taskforce

As a company, we recognise the systemic and structural racism that exists across the theatre sector and in society, in the UK and internationally.

We acknowledge our own position of privilege and we challenge ourselves to ensure that our workforce, the stories we share, our audiences and language is truly representative, inclusive and accessible.

In response, our anti-racism taskforce is focused on ensuring that Punchdrunk Enrichment embodies the principles of anti-racism and allyship across all of our activity.

The aims of the taskforce are to:

  • Develop an anti-racism action plan for the company across all our functions
  • Agree the on-going mechanisms to ensure this work is central to our values and programme
  • Hold us to account

The taskforce is made up of members of staff, our board of trustees and freelancers.

They are:

Liz Booth

Adam Burton

Ben Connah

Alice Devlin

Pam Garside

JoJo Tyhurst

The anti racism plan will be developed over the course of 12 months, with actions implemented on a rolling basis. Further outcomes will be shared on our website in due course.

You can view the profile of our workforce in our annual trustees report.
